WINDSOR, ONTARIO---A Bronze badge, in two parts. Hanger, "Souvenir", below a medallion proclaming "Victoria Day" May 24-26, 1902. Bust Victoria. In about as new condition. The unusual part of it all is that Victoria had passed away in 1901. Ex G. Brunk collection. $45.
TELEGRAPHER'S BADGE----in three parts. Upper is 28x24mm, white metal shield, "OTTA", with early telegraphy equipment. 1880-1896. Stud on Back to attach along if wanted. Blue ribbon, and then a 35mm bz medal, uniface, "Old time Telegraph association, Pittsburgh, Sept 9-11, 1896, with telephone poles and lines. This truly an interesting and rare item----- $110.
STUDEBAKER VEHICLE WORKS---An advertising mirror, featuring the "world's largest automotive manufacturing plant", Studebaker!! South Bend Indiana. RARE mirror, and a color view of the plant, most likely in the 1920's. 68 X 50 oval.  EF--- $178.
BROWN'S TOBACCO---an embossing die, nearly square, with a mule pictorial. From the R. J Reynolds Tobacco company, in use about 1910-1920. Scarce, interesting, --- $55.
BOVRIL---English advert mirror, ad in black and gray for Bovril. A food product, featured on many British tokens, and here in a mirror, which is quite scarce. EF, nice --- $75.
CENTURY OF PROGRESS--- Chicago, 1833. An ashtray, metal, in the original box from the fair. Top with a view of the Chrysler exhibit building, "Where Friends meet", the sides with "Chrysler""Dodge""Plymouth" and "De Soto" imprinted. Ashtray with same info as on box, and copper, as new---box nearly so. Nice all the way, $38.
BELGIAN SEALS---These used in mid 19th century as seals for an official to use when working on Government papers. At one time in handles, but no longer. Nice vignettes, one of the shield of Belgium, the other of a rampant Belgian lion. Interesting and neat, VF easily and useable-- $75.
A MONEY "BOX"----20mm round box, 25mm high, with a loop for a chain. Worn around the neck, this spring-loaded box held sixpences, and is nice looking and in prefect working condition. English, of course, ----- never be without a sixpence again!!  Most likely early 20th C. ---- $65.
G.A.R. ----Union Army---- this Grand Army of the Republic badge for the woman's auxillary,  made out to "FLC", as  Past Jr. President. GAR star and sheld on drop down, and ribbon and pin above. Three piece badge for a past officer. EF.  the medal itself is 2.5" in length through the three parts. Nice, $88.
LOWERING THE LEVEL, bar of soap "Stolen from the Mustang Ranch, Sparks Nevada"---"where the customer comes first"------(NO COMMENT)---- In the original plastic wrapping. $20.
Century of Progress, 1934. A deck of playing cards from the fair in Chicago in 1934, in the original box. Fair scenes, with an index to views. Very interesting. VF, very nice, the Joker seems to be missing, but nothing else is. 1933-1934. $88.
Automotive-----A Buick advertising bronze bar--(paper weight?)-- 82 X 51mm rectangular. The Buick Logo in script, with a view of a Buick valve-in-head engine. The back is blank. No date, but the engine seems to me a 1937. Buick motor Co, Flint Michigan.  EF $85.
Powder Horn----- curved cow horn, with plug and stopper. Olive in color, not what I would call a very ornate one but with some fluting. In good condition. This is a civil war era horn. Good condition---- $245.
Powder Horn--- Nicely ornamented fluting and other carving on a Buffalo powder horn. These are pretty scarce, as not many were made from the horn of the Buffalo due to the brittle nature of the horns. Early day makers learned quickly that they were not practical, and the ones that were made did not survive at a high rate. this is a nice dark original color. With plug and stopper, nice -- $395.
Provance, France----90X53mm art plaque, bronze, with ornately done historical scenes from the area of Provance. By Raymond DeLamarre, 1951. Extremely well executed, a nun, a dragon, woman with a baby basket, horseman with sword, ship,. Pirate, buildings, banner, and more. ----As new, $85.
French Provinces---90X53mm art plaque, with different scenes than that of the above item, just as ornate, just as nice---also by De Lamarre. As new---- $85.
French Provinces---90X60mm art plaque, much like the ones above but with even different scenes, very ornate and fine work by De Lamarre. This plaque slightly larger than the other two. Men in armor, crusades, Viking ship, and a whole lot more. Enjoyable to view---- $135.
Paris----A bronze 59X90mm art plaque---again much like the ones above, but this one depicting scenes from the history of Paris. By DeLamarre. Superb. --- $135.
Cigarette Case---made from tin, with the vignette of a British one pound note---something that has certainly not been made for many years----Exterior engraving very nice, missing some of the original coloration with traces of red and green remaining along with most of the black. Well used, but clasp and spring are in working order, and the internal ribbon is present. Decent example, $110.
Napoleon----a fully 5" round uniface plaque, and original done by Andrieu in 1805, with the bust of Napoleon looking to the left. Holed at top for suspension, as they all were. A couple of small digs on the large bust does not really detract, and overall the piece has seen very little damage, with one small rough spot on the rim and a couple other rim scrapes. It would display just fine. Very Scarce  in this format and this size. Andrieu was a major contributor  to French medal making in the Napoleonic years. VF overall, looks better--- $110.
Free Parisien--- interesting bronze 71mm medal awarded to Pierre Paraf. With scenes of the Eiffel tower, a female with a telephone, electric rays, and a globe, it covers 1944-1954 and the progress made in industry. Very scarce medal, large format, and this one awarded--- $45.
Token Dies----Dies for a quarter-sized token, one obverse with several reverse dies available. The obverse die is for Three Lakes Lumber, in Three Lakes Washington. The die is, of course, unique, and the town is no longer in existence. Tokens from the die are very rare. Included with the die are three other dies that have different denominations--10c, 20c, and 25c---that match the obverse die and size. Made by Meyer Bros, Seattle, who made such from 1898-1938. This most likely from the 1920 era. Some oxidation but in good condition. Set of four $195
OLD PRICE RIOTS---Obverse, Kemble, wearing a foolscap-- legend "Oh my head aitches", and "obstinacy"---Reverse, O.P., John Bull's Jubilee, "Clifford Forever". Issued during the Old Price Riots of 1809. The building burned in 1809, and Theater manager Kemble raised the prices in the theater after it was rebuilt--- causing much distress. the riots went on the three months, and the token comes with the complete story, and the words to the song "Ode to John Bull". -------------------------------------- Fairly scarce item, I buy them when I can find them-- hfs. Silvered, GVF ---- $75.
TOY COIN BOX----These went so fast on my last list that I went looking for more. These round boxes are gilt metal, 23mm x 4mm high, with Windsor Castle on the lid.   VF+, $65.
Snuff Box----A used one, gilt brass, most of the gilding on the body of the box but just a bit remain on the lid, which has a bust of William Pitt the Younger, prime minister under George III, who died in 1806. Most of the snuff boxes so made were done at the time of his death, or a few years before or after--so say circa 1800-1815. Cover with the bust of Pitt, legend "The Right Honorable William Pitt". the cover is dark with just some gilt. The inside of the box shows use. An inexpensive one for the type and the era--- $260.

As you might expect from a shipwreck coin, most are about as new, but have been cleaned when recovered. As they come--- $22.
